Drop Prism
Christians: Where did rainbows come from?
In a rainbow, raindrops in the air act as tiny prisms. Light enters the raindrop, reflects off of the side of the drop and exits. In the process, it is broken into a spectrum just like it is in a triangular glass prism.
Thats the sum of a scientific explanation. Do you accept this or do you simply believe that “God did it”?
If you believe the scientific view then you are forced to accept that rainbows happen after every rainfall, therefore rainbows existed before “the flood”. Ultimately saying that the scripture in the bible quoting god about rainbows being a “promise to never flood the world again” is not accurate.
And taking it one step further…Proves that the bible is just another primative writing of cavemen and overly active imaginations.
God made the rainbow as a covenant with Noah
Genesis 9: 12-14)
“And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
